I am troubleshooting recurring buffer overflow issues on two IP cameras in Blue Iris and have not been able to identify the root cause.
System details:
Blue Iris host has 32 GB RAM and a 12 core CPU
Two cameras are configured for continuous recording
Two other cameras are configured for motion only recording
Camera receive buffer is set to 500 MB on the affected cameras
Observed behavior:
Buffer overflow errors occur only on the two cameras set to continuous recording
The motion only cameras on the same system do not experience the issue
System CPU and memory usage are well within limits
Disk space is available
Cameras remain reachable on the network when the overflow occurs
