Blue Iris not picking up up ONVIF from Dahua T54R cameras.

Howdy All,

I am currently using BI 5.6.3 and have added two T54 cameras from Andy, S2 and S3 generations, and neither of them are successfully triggering in BI. I have C4k cameras, older 5442, etc all running and triggering successfully, it is just this particular series that is not. Things I have tried so far to correct this problem:

Confirmed the camera IVS rules are triggered from the GUI (using Internet Explorer)
Reinstalled Blue Iris
Restored the cameras back to factory defaults, 3x, and upgrade firmware to the latest release from Andy
I have no AI or Deepstack running
Hi-Res Image on trigger is checked, I am not getting any images saved in the alerts folder
Get ONVIF events is checked
Changed the ONVIF source to events, 00000 for both first and second sources, nothing triggers.

Find/Inspect produces the attached output. I am truly stumped on this one and hoping the group might have an idea.

Thanks!

On the page where you draw the IVS rules. And in BI I would first try just saving the thumbnails and not the hi-rez alert images.

Confirmed that was checked; still no luck. I switched from hi-res to database only to capture the thumbnails and nothing showed there either but it did record the trigger on the camera.

I have another instance running that version and the cams work for it.

The only difference is I have 40MB in the Receive buffer where you have 6.0.

Maybe that is it?

Tried that, no alerts/triggers received in blue iris, alarm triggered on the camera. It is just the 54s too, everything else works fine which is why I think I must either have missed something small or just have a unique stack up of software/hardware that is causing this.

Yeah, you got me too. Everything looks correct. And you have done everything we would have suggested.

The last thing would be to look at the version tab and see if you see any errors (not my image just a stock one) but it will show an error if there is a mix-match on any of the versions.

All clear there too. Glad to see I am not going crazy and it should be working. Thanks for all the help.

I wanted to follow up and close this out. I managed to get the triggers to fire properly. The process I took was:

Copied a known working camera and then changed it to the not trigger T54 IP and login
Shut down BI
Logged into the camera GUI and reset the ONVIF account login and password and made sure login authentication was not enabled.
Restarted the camera from the GUI
Booted up BI and the trigger was now working in the 'new' T54 camera, but was not firing in the 'old' T54 camera.

I'm going to just put it down as to some weird stack up that got cleared out with redoing everything and rebuilding based on a known working camera.

I had a similar problem once. Something (I have forgotten what) wasn't working right on a camera, when another identical camera with identical BI settings worked. I compared the registry data for the 2 cameras and found one setting where I could fix the non-working camera by flipping a setting. I settled on just copying a working camera, a lot easier.
