Blink Video Doorbell (New for 2018)

I guess Blink is coming out with a video door bell sometime in 2018, but from my reading i don't think is onvif ready, is probably like Ring , but it is offering "free cloud" for recordings.

Looking for replace my Ring some day with a onvif one but so far they are not really good when it comes to video
quality.

wire free=crap battery powered unit...looks like it will require their hub as well..
fyi ring and ring pro are on sale for 80 off via ring today.
EDIT: looks like it will work on wired powered via existing wiring but still require batteries...but if it requires the hub, that is silly...
Can I connect the Blink Video Doorbell on My Existing Home Wiring?
YES! Almost all existing home doorbell wiring will be able to connect to the doorbell through the simple connection of 2 wires to the back of the doorbell unit. This way, it will be able to ring your existing chime when the button is pressed.

It will also extend the life of the batteries on the Blink Video Doorbell. However, you will NOT be able to run the doorbell on the home wiring alone. 2 AA 1.5V Lithium batteries are required for the Doorbell to work.
