When I updated to Blue Iris 6, I found that Blue Iris Tools would not work. It would not restart BI 6. I know that BI Tools has not been updated in years, so I guess I was not surprised - the Blue Iris Tools interface only has options for BI 4 and BI 5. I was told in another section of the forum that BI Tools does indeed work for BI 6, but that I should run it in "Efficiency Mode", which I did, and BI Tools did indeed start Blue Iris 6.
However, since then (now on BI 6.0.1.8), BI 6 and BI Tools have both been crashing shortly after midnight every day. Event Viewer indicates that BI Tools is crashing first, but I can't decipher why. I also have no idea why it seems to happen around 12:10 to 12:12 am every night. Since I disabled BI Tools, BI 6 does not crash anymore, so I think I can safely place the blame BI Tools.
So does anyone else have this crashing problem? Am I missing something? Do I give up on BI Tools? Is there another watchdog system to ensure that BI 6 stays running?
