Hi all,
Just posting my experience here for others.
I've been running BI on a dedicated machine for years, upgraded from 4>5 then installed all of the highly-stable updates over time.
I had a problem with my Windows install so I installed a fresh Windows alongside the old one.
I wasn't sure on the best way to upgrade, so I just did the export from BI 5 and used BI Tools to get the license key.
Then I just downloaded the latest installer (which was 6.0.1.23), installed that, put in the licence key and imported the old settings.
Apart from a reboot or two and having to change BI to run as a service, the whole experience was seamless and all my camera settings were retained.
The built in AI picked up my 2080TI and it's working perfectly out of the box. I was using CP AI before.
The fresh Windows install is probably helping, but Blue Iris has never run so well before.
On another note, I see 6.0.1.24 is released and includes custom AI models now. Hmmmm.
