Better Camera Recommendations?

I built my entire surveillance systems at two separate locations using the Dahua IPC-T5442T-ZE camera from EmpireTec Andy. Except for one instance of bricking a camera during a firmware update, they have been great cameras. I've never used anything but Dahua, but I don't really have a definite brand allegiance. We're also building a new home. I haven't decided yet if I'll leave the current cameras behind (for a new owner) or take them with me. A new owner may not want ethernet cables hanging from holes in the roof soffits.

1. Has Dahua released a similar but better camera to buy now than the IPC-T5442T-ZE?
2. Is Dahua still a top tier choice for DIY home surveillance using Blue Iris, or would anyone recommend a different brand of camera?

Thanks!

1. Ze-s3 still the best.

Agree with both of the above.

Only thing worth looking at is the 4K-T and 4K-X if you don’t mind the white LEDs on all night.

The Color4M-T is also a runner up. A bit noisier than the 5442 but in controlled entry spaces with the ability to kick in the white LEDs with IVS, and especially if you can leave a porch light on, they do ok
