Beach camera

Currently have an older Amcrest IP8M-T2599E streaming to Tides Beach RockyPoint NY live. This isn't a security camera, it's purely a scenic webcam for friends and family to catch sunsets at our local beach. I'd like to upgrade to a cam with a higher frame rate than the current 15fps @2160p. I'd like to stay above 1440p. Any recommendations for a cam that's more picture quality based, rather than security? Trying to stay under $200 and considering Empiretech cams available on Amazon.

Truth be told, that camera is doing a good job for what it's being used for. If you really want 30FPS and better night vision, the only camera I could recommend as an improvement would be the EmpireTech IPC-Color4K-T, which is just over $200. Google it for purchase options, or search YouTube for "Color4K-T" and "Color4K-X" to get an idea of what it can do (particularly at night). Note that due to high sensitivity, bright clouds will wash out a bit with that camera (which may be desirable anyway instead of dimming the scene like your current camera would do).

Are you streaming via RTMP directly to YouTube from the camera?

Would a 2.8mm lens as you have now work?
