Hi

I have this camera but i can not figure out why it does not record movement.

I would think everything is set up as it is supposed to, but the lack of recording says i did not.

Running firmware 6.50.2.3

Please see attached images.

I set up a streaming profile called "movement", i set an action rule to record on movement and i defined an area to record if motion inside.

Can someone tell me what i am doing wrong.

SDCard status is Ready total size 59.4 Gbyte

If additional info is needed please ask.

Likely have Motion setup wrong. Reset the include and exclude areas and uncheck the sway and short lived box and test.

Hi

Did as suggested, saved and rebooted the camera.

Did a walk in front of the camera.

Still no recording :(

See attached picture for settings now.

Try unchecking "Start Condition Only" under Action Rule Setup. Save. Then try triggering the motion again. Also, what is the model of this camera? Most of the new firmware that I have dealt with are running VMD 4 now.

Edit: noticed model in title, disregard. I would go ahead and update to current firmware 6.50.3 on Axis site. It will have the VMD4 application, youll need to stop VMD3 or just remove it, then "start" VMD4, then create the rule again, but leave start condition only unchecked. Post results.
