I know this hasn't made the news very much in the US but the case relates to a Police Officer being charged with Murder after he shot an armed offender who had stabbed him.

The offender was Aboriginal and all the signs point to him being charged for that reason. Seven News did a story on it that you should be able to watch on Youtube.
