I have multiple instances of BI running in various locations all NUC 10 i7s and NUC 8 i7s The GPU in all of them were more than happy under BI5. I went to use the BI embedded AI and realized it wasnt using any of the GPU and as burying the CPU. So I went back to Blue Onyx for AI and it uses the GPU fine and the system is much happier.
I then noticed I see HW Decode and HW Encode errors in the system:
I see GPU load from the cameras using HW acceleration it seems, but anytime a mobile app or UI3 instance connects CPU goes up and an error about encode failing (for h265 and h264).
I am curious if anyone else is seeing similar with 10th gen or 8th gen CPUs? Did the HW compatibility list for BI6 move to just current hardware? (10th gen aren't that old either!)
