I use Ameta group mostly for Hikvision and Dahua odds and ends. They have been awesome and keep a solid inventory. Lately They have been pushing their proprietary line…”AIbase”. I ordered an nvr and a cam to play around with which should be arriving tomorrow.

Do any of you guys have experience with the AIbase platform? If so I am interested to hear your opinions…

For a second, I thought these were cameras that were being promoted by Albanians

Sounds legit though -

I would still opt for those specific camera models which have a strong record on this forum though

Yeah i tend to agree with you. They have a “discovery kit” promotion going on right now for new partners where they will send you a 4 channel nvr (no hdd) and a turret cam for $99 shipped. I decided to go for it just to check out the platform. Should be arriving today.

Looking forward to your review :p

Well it arrived. Decent looking packaging. It came with all the basic stuff that you would expect. I like that they tossed in a mouse. The cam feels robust. Typical cast pot metal or aluminum or whatever it is. It’s the smaller form factor:

You should redact the print on the barcodes label.
