'This isn't right': impact of AI data centers on residents and their utility bills

I keep asking where are the greenies on this? Supposedly these data centers can burn as much electricity, thus heating the atmosphere as a mid-size city. Numbers I have found, not vetted by me at all, say a typical data center uses the power of 100,000 homes, with newer planned ones using the power of 2,000,000 homes. 60% of the power runs the servers, and up to 30% run the cooling system. All massive amounts of heat being released into the atmosphere. Supposedly the power used by a large data center could power 400,000 EVs. Then there's the separate issue of massive water consumption. Why are the libs screaming about the increased power bills and silent about the contribution to climate change that overshadows many of the other things they whine about?

Cause they like playing with all the AI toys on their iphone :lmao:

But yeah they are surprisingly quiet.
