I recently bought a Reolink Go Ultra camera to check if the image quality is good enough to use with its time-lapse feature in a construction site.
Unfortunately the image quality (4K in specs) is good enough for a "security camera" but quite bad to be used to create a construction time-lapse. I mean, a 5 even an 8 y.o GoPro has way better image quality.
Everything about the time-lapse feature of Reolink is ok (setup, 4G access, android app, windows app). I am currently testing a 12 hour with 10 sec interval everyday schedule in a sunny weather to check.

I searched for an alternative and better solution but I wasn't able to spot something.

Can someone with better knowledge point me to a brand/model that will offer better quality please?

Without getting into huge expensive towable platforms there’s not a lot of middle ground options. You could look into vosker, never installed one but my wholesaler has been selling them for a long time.

I’ve been doing something similar on my rural property, and I ended up switching to Insta360 cams for streaming events to my phone with decent quality. They’re super easy to set up, and the constant solar power helps keep everything running without much fuss. I had to tweak the mount a bit so it stayed stable in wind, but so far the signal with 4G has held up nicely.
