4k monitor specs - Hikvision nvr

Hi all. Looking at a 4k Hikvision NVR. HDMI specs say 1-ch, 4K (3840 × 2160)/30Hz
Does this mean i need a 4k monitor that will show 4k at 30hz or will a 60hz monitor still show 4k?
