3tb purple drive causing small pausing

has anyone noticed there 3tb purple drive causing small amount of pausing

i only have 1 purple drive smart stats show the drive is good
my first thinking was i loaded the computer up with 2 many cameras
so i offloaded half of them to other computer
still had the problem then i moved to a normal 2tb drive and all seems good

I have a 4tb purple, no issues... No 3 tb handy though.

How to test a drive for problems using Data Lifeguard Diagnostics for Windows | WD Support

If it gets any errors after running that you'll have no issues RMAing it for a new one, they will even drop ship you one in advance if you give em a CC# incase you dont ship the failing one back.

status update:
welp i ran the data lifegaurd 2x times and everything passed
checked the smart-status and it shows 0 bad sectors

i guess i can try recording some video on there and see if its still doing it
got a feeling if i try rma ing it when it passes they wont take it

they were not when the problem was noticed
now all up to date still doing the same thing
im thinking the drive has a problem

Problem with all those drive's health scanners is that they mostly do not notify you about "slow sectors", meaning sectors that are still readable but in bad condition an dthen may require a few retries.
