2mp 12x dahua rebranded dome deal

That's a helluva deal fenderman. I have one in my cart but haven't pulled the trigger yet. The rebate says it's valid between 9/27 and 9/29. Well, on the west coast it's not 9/27 yet, so rebate might not be valid until midnight here.

I hate messing with rebates. Also you dont want to rely on it. Sometimes they screw you and you dont get it. So ask yourself if you are willing to pay 165 for it..if yes, then go for it and if you get the rebate, its icing on the cake.

I know what you mean. I've dealt with a lot of rebates with Newegg over the years. Most of the time I receive them but there's been quite a few times that they never showed up.

I might gamble on this one and order the camera after midnight. Still seems like a great deal even if it doesn't have IR LED's. Thanks for posting the find.
 
Well, my wife is going to kill me, but I just ordered one! Paid $165 and selected No Wait option for the rebate form. I don't mind paying $9 for it, if it means I will get my rebate within 3-5 days after they receive all the paperwork. Otherwise, 8-10 weeks. Now, just need to wait for the camera to get here to cutoff the UPC barcode label and send with the receipt. Will see how it goes. Great find!

Fantastic! Looks like we're going to be the guinea pigs. :peaceful: I still have to wait a half hour for the rebate to be valid. It's in the cart. Just have to be patient. lol
 
Order placed. I'll probably do the No-Wait option also. I hope this camera will work well with BI.

Yeah, it just says Available In-Store now. I would have picked one up at that price, for sure, just to give to my dad. LOL.
 
Yeah, that price is unbelievable. I keep expecting to get an email saying that they made a mistake on the price and will be refunding the money.:sad:
 
1k for this cam seems way overpriced, considering the spec is very similar to mini PTZ.
 
Yep, I noticed that this morning when I clicked on the link. I stayed up after midnight last night to order it. At that price, I imagine their inventory went fast. :)
 
Received UPS tracking number today.

At that price, I wish I would have ordered two of them even though the rebate was only good for one.
