Here is my wishful thinking but is there a 2.5" HDD for surveillance out there? I did a google search and didnt come up with anything.

Not really.
There are some enterprise 2.5" SAS HDDs.. however most of use would rather have more affordable SATA HDDs.

I’ve only found one, and it’s old tech - and kinda pricey for its size..
If your space is limited, you might want to consider the WD external drives that people are “shucking” for the red drives inside.. just skip the “shucking” part..
