    Area of Interest(AOI) doubt

    Can someone help me inderstand the AOI Area of interest option? When AI analyses a trigger does it process just this smaller AOI or the entire camera angle? In other words with a smaller section defined here will the accuracy improve? Many thanks

    The Area of Interest's "Edit..." button is grayed out for some cameras

    Does anyone know why this happens? I can't see any rhyme nor reason for why it's grayed out for some cameras but not others. I wanted to try the feature, but it's grayed out on the camera I want. About half of them have it and the other half don't. vs.

    AOIs using Hikvision 8MP DS-2CD2385FWD-I

    I wanted to test out multiple shadow CAMs and the AOI (Area Of Interest) with the Hik 8MP 2.8mm. Using the AOI on 2MP cams results in poor quality for the AOIs, but with 8MP, the AOIs look great. AOI needs a little work in the GUI to make it easier to set the size, but its workable for now...
