    I can do partial zooms when I access the "camera's" Web Gui at the NVR console, and through the Web GUI. But unable to partial zoom using the Web GUI.

    I was able to do all of these zoom until the NVR upgrade. Now unable to do partial zooms using IE Web GUI, all other methods I can still use partial zooms.

    Yes, that is the firmware for the NVR. The cameras have the original firmware (there aren't any upgrades).

    As stated above, DMSS, SmartPSS and gDMSS all function properly and capable of partial zoom., But I use IE running under Windows 10 to monitor the cameras. The problem is with Dahua's firmware.

    I have 9 of these and it looks like Dahua firmware upgrade to V4.001.xxxxxxxx.x.R or later partially kills the zoom function. Instead of being able to partially zoom in and out, now you can only zoom fully out or in.

    Fully aware of potential problems. But I wished there was a notice that some Dahua cameras features such as PTZ were no longer supported. Now I have 7 cameras that won't partially zoom, unless I connect directly to the camera (requires virtual host to be turn on).
