    After reading this thread, I logged onto my NVR in Edge for the first time in weeks. Same problem, no live feed but OK in HikConnect. I don't see it mentioned here, but you should be downloading the LocalServices plugin. That's what I did, opened Edge and everything is fine now.

    You have to fiddle with the min box. If it's too large you won't pick up people. Of course if it's too small you'll pick up lots of unwanted stuff. I usually run my Hik cameras with an intrusion percentage of 60-70% and they do just fine.

    That tree is probably killing your line crossing detection. Remove it, play around with the settings (min/max, sensitivity, etc) and you'll be happy with it. Also curious why you haven't tried intrusion detection? Much more reliable than motion in my experience.

    Are you having problems with the handle moving without the door opening? You asked for help, I answered. You need your detection box bigger, then test it. If that moves the ball forward but you need more, tweak the threshold. Or not.

    What does error code 260015 in Hik-Connect mean?

    That error code just means Hikconnect could not retrieve the recording from the NVR - it's quite common. It happens on occasion without any reason. When I start getting those I do a quick NVR reboot and it's cured. Nobody seems to know why that error pops up.
