Good camera. The 1/1.8 @ 8 mp is great if you have some ambiant light. I also installed the 8mp with the 1/1.2 sensor. If you have enough lighting I prefer the 1/1.8 sensor cam even at 8mp. Without much light th 4mp 5443 is probably better. The 8mp 1/1.8 is very good with ambiant lighting.
If some of you install cameras for small companys, read the WIKI and determine if you have outside/inside lighting...if thats what your job calls for. I have the 8mp at 1/18..not as good as the 4mp cam at 1/1.8 if you want a large area...I just purchased the 8 mp with the 1/1.2 and its better...

If you can afford an ANPR camera they can't be beat for capturing license plates at night on moving targets. (even in heavy rain) I completely understand for home use when you have time to dial it in as many on here have done.
I've seen this reading before, but only once. The cable was OK but was going to some sort of device, but I had just replaced the male connector that got damaged by a landscaper. I plugged it into the ubiquiti cam and it worked....so I didnt make any other tests. (probably could have looked for...

Could a truck load of drones be a reason to purchase "farmland" near american military basses? I know China seems to like American farmland near our military installations.....or im i just another conspiracy nut?
I have no help.
It's crazy to me the different named NVR/Cam systems that are most likely built in china within a few blocks of each other. I was able to upgrade a lorex to a dauha sys (learned it here) but I think most low end systems wont allow it. ... and i like the features ....but...
Tennessee, Arkansas, Idaho, and Louisiana -- have passed OTC ivermectin laws.
....also, numerous other states are proposing OTC uses for Ivermectin.
Thanks for a few states doing the right thing.
(the FDA still says it's not approved for covid).....
Andy / Empiretech has some really good videos on how to set up IVS, tripwire and intrusion zones. I've learned a lot watching how to set up the cameras by watching his videos.

NO - you changed your avatar. It's great to know you learned not to stick a knife in the electrical socket as a kid and now you have become an astronaut. :thumb:
