    Just as an update: I used my wife's iPhone just to see if i would have better luck. Same thing, can login to the vpn and can login to the routers configuration page with safari as a test, but cannot access Blue Iris via in Safari at 192.168.1.251:8080 address or port 81 when configured that way...

    You betcha, :81 after the Blue Iris server IP address.... Should I try a different port? I find it odd that it works on Wifi but not via VPN. On the VPN I can access my router login though, so that really makes me wonder. Hopefully something small I'm missing.

    Thanks for the reply, I entered the LAN address in both WAN/LAN as suggested and am still unable to connect. Is it possible the standard VPN software with my Galaxy s8+ is not worth using? It creates a connection according to network analyzer but I'm baffled as to why I'm unable to access Blue...
