I can confirm Nest works fine, and even Reolink works for their new GPS cams, but BI still only sends me an image with NO MARKUP and usually no detection. -

Would adding a delay help? I'm trying but just want to see if anyone had any luck with this? I still sometimes (usually when it has detection on multiple cameras) get markup on the image but still not a single gif! -

No VPN, I can be local on wifi, or cellular doesn't matter. I don't have stunnel or https on either. All communication works for the bi app and ui3 too, just no deepstack markup, nor gif. I don't re-encode streams I keep them on h624 (5) The alert on bi shows markup. Any other ideas? -

Dont Get Boxes Around Person And Car DS on Ubuntu
I cant get the boxes with person % and car % and so on from BI with another PC running DS on Ubuntu. Is it that it cannot send the info back to windows BI? I know Home Assistant works fine doing DS on another machine. Thanks! -

How the heck can I train or add faces to BI with Deepstack running on another Ubuntu machine? I have had zero luck with this, even if I just want the faces detected to be returned it returns nothing. (I do know it works fine when running DS on windows, but eats processor) Thanks Chspyder -

Why does limit decoding cause this? I was under the understanding if I have a h264 stream then there is no need for needing that to decode always. am I wrong? Im thinking the cameras iframe needs to be set to 1 keyframe per second?- chspyder

Great advice! Still on topic id replace the cam and secure it from the elements as you said with dielectric grease and silicon, also make sure all screws are snug and hope no gaskets we're pinched during install.- chspyder

True it is rare, but we average 1 in 50 has some issue from factory, that's about the industry standard of 2% not high but it is a possibility especially if the camera is a knockoff or junk brand. Bad camera CCD possibly water ingress and or corrosion, trash it, use proper dielectric grease and silicone to prevent this. It could also be just a bad camera from the factory.- chspyder
