    UPDATE: I have three cameras disconnected to dry out the moisture. these are disconnected: 2) of the IPC-HFW5241E-Z12E 1) IPC-T3241T-ZA MY NVR just froze again. NVR is a POE Still trying to troubleshoot it.

    I have not had problems with any of my equipment other than moisture in Dahua cameras (which I replaced) and the videos freezing. not sure what you are referring to?

    Yes, I see live and can play back the recordings. I have the ASUS ROG Rapture GT-AX11000 Pro Tri-Band WiFi 6 and two D-Link 10-Port Gigabit Smart Managed PoE+ Switch | 8 PoE+ Ports Everything works fine. It occasionally freezes. and I do not know why? Thanks Sam

    I just don't want to get off subject. some had moisture, the others just failed over time. so moisture was not the only issue. in either case, I need to find some new cameras. so researching once again for low light and good resolution.

    I just took this pic, this is what I was doing. I will try your suggestion protecting the connectors and the pigtail when I get some new cameras. this is my PTZ Camera up on the poll. all others are under eves and in boxes.

    No, I was in an area that did not get hit, and my cameras went bad before the storm. Most of my cameras are not in direct sun.

    RE: perhaps the direct sun at those angles has degraded the sensor over time. how would I know if this is the case? the camera is zoomed out, I tried zooming it in some, and it got lighter, just that then it is not videoing the driveway. not sure how to set up profiles? Thanks

    maybe, however in this photo the camera is also pointing at the same Banana plants and the camera video was Ok with them there before? RE: Do you also have IR mode set to come on based on light conditions? No not sure how to go about that? Thanks
