    Try it with the 12V supply, see if it makes any difference.

    It could be some shorted SMD capacitor. You could test them with an multimeter. Install an exterior better IR light.

    The system worked great for years now, but lately I'm having issues with the LPR camera. It's getting stuck and it shows the yellow exclamation sign. What I mean, for example in the morning I check the camera and it still show a night image. If I soft restart it via GUI, it goes back to normal...

    I would use IPA when turned on and see if any other part may be shorted near that IC. Maybe it is a shorted smd capacitor. The IPA would dry up first at that component.

    Need to check, when I get home. With the old one, (older model. that broke) I have used a splitter, but if I recall on this one, I only have a blue Ethernet cable plugged in. This one does not have the zoom feature, as the old one had, I miss that feature.

    I'm even contemplating building my own. A tiny amplifier, a small speaker, a project box and some wires. You can place one under the eve, for protection from the elements.
