    I don't scan with the camera I just have like 4 presets that it switches to every 5 mins (I might end up making it longer)

    Just curious how you guys have this camera set up? Are you having the camera do a scan back and forth? Move from preset to preset? (How long between presets?) Pattern? I use the presets and have them switch every 5 mins. I thought about using the scan feature but I worried about wearing out...

    I have a new NVR, don't use P2P, and my alerts are still there when I close the app. :idk: So no real advantage of making an account, for me at least.

    I have yet to create an account for the DMSS app to view cameras (just always cancel out of the screen). But now recently the prompt is becoming more frequent. Are you guys making an account? What is the advantage of making one?

    Good explanation. That’s just poor business decisions to not adapt to changing technologies. IE has been extinct for YEARS now. I wouldn’t complain as much if we could use smart pss to make ivs and other technical adjustments.

    How long has this camera been installed for? Did you update the firmware recently? Are you using outdoor rated cable? Are you keeping the RJ45 connections watertight? Maybe try a new switch

    According to the spec sheets on both cameras they say the web gui works on Safari. Can anyone confirm that it actually does, especially setting IVS lines?

    My install will need to be a PFB300C mount. I’ve gotta get around a gutter down spout and the one you mentioned wouldn’t work for me unfortunately. My only concern is wind. Is it going to move or jiggle.
