    Yes very annoying. I'm running the android version of the Dahua VTH and have the same issue. I can't get it to update the ring tone either, the procedure must be different to the Linux VTH.

    Thanks will try a different cable and port later. I was thinking it might be a referb too because the box it came in was just a plain brown box, no branding etc. I've registered it on the Seagate site and it shows a warranty until 2027.

    Thanks. In the amazon link you can choose the style of the drive. I chose "surveillance AI" which is why our model numbers are different I think.

    Just to add, these cameras will be used locally, not remote. I just read a thread where a guy was having problems with remote Reolinks and BI.
