[solved] Empiretech Color4m-T: prevent white light on human detection via API

Found the solution :D first of all, to be able to control the Human,Vehicle, Both you must select "Illuminator -> Smart illumination -> check both human and vehicle" Now that you've done that, you have full control with the HTTP API. If you don't do that, you can only have either one off Human...

[solved] Empiretech Color4m-T: prevent white light on human detection via API

I’m trying to fully control a Dahua camera via API, specifically to disable the white light when a person is detected at night, while still keeping IR working. Current setup: Web UI: Customized Scene is selected Day/Night profiles are configured API: Switching day/night profile works...

IPC-Color4M-T: got a false positive with IVS, what should i tweak?

I see. I could partially workaround that by creating 2 intrusion zones, one for "close objects" and one for "farther objects".

IPC-Color4M-T: got a false positive with IVS, what should i tweak?

It's already at default, I have never changed those things because I'm not sure how to properly do it. Is it enough to create a box bigger than the cat in one point of the fov and then the camera will properly rescale it across the entire fov?

IPC-Color4M-T: got a false positive with IVS, what should i tweak?

This is the camera web ui, but I cannot find the settings where I can measure the length of an object :( I looked in the others menus, but still nothing about measuring an object. 1) ah it's irrelevant because it scales the box size based on the location of the FoV? But this is true only if I...

IPC-Color4M-T: got a false positive with IVS, what should i tweak?

The global config you mean sensitivity? I only have ai large scale models on/off and sensitivity in the global config Then in the rule itself I have sensitivity again. I wanted to set a min size, but I'm unsure how to proceed. 1) where should I draw the box? Because the cat is obviously...

IPC-Color4M-T: got a false positive with IVS, what should i tweak?

The first is installed 235cm from ground, the second 303cm from ground. I guess it should be okay for both right?

IPC-Color4M-T: got a false positive with IVS, what should i tweak?

I have disabled the large scale models. But still get the human intrusion when this cat appears. It was walking slowly and video is very clear. No streaks or else. Any idea what I could tweak?

IPC-Color4M-T: got a false positive with IVS, what should i tweak?

Ah cool, thanks I'll try that. Out of curiosity, what's that parameter purpose?? Thanks

IPC-Color4M-T: got a false positive with IVS, what should i tweak?

Hello all, I have some IPC-Color4M-T configured with: MD/SMD off, AcuPick off, IVS on, large scale ai models on. For IVS, I have just a basic intrusion rule with appear/cross for human and/or vehicle. Up until yesterday night, everything has been working beautifully. I have some cats running...

    Dahua NVR NEXT GUI

I've been using NVR 5 for quite some time now and I honestly prefer it over NVR 4. No bugs faced so far (at least that I can see lol)

    Mini-Review EmpireTech IPC-Color4M-T

I was thinking about disabling all substreams on the cameras and use go2rtc to take the mainstream and then restream a 720p and 360p. This could save some additional resources on the camera itself, right? Just to be sure: IVS runs on the mainstream right? I can safely disable the substreams...

Thanks, I'll do that! EDIT: I can also use go2rtc to have a "low quality" dashboard for mobile connection when in spotty areas. So I can keep using only main stream and sub1 while a low quality sub is done directly via HA

I was wondering: if I'm gonna disable MD/SMD and keep only IVS with 2/3 rules, I guess I could save enough cpu to use the 1st sub as 720 right? Home connection and mobile connection are more than beefy enough to support the load from the 6 cameras

    Mini-Review EmpireTech IPC-Color4M-T

I see! Can confirm because the other camera looking only at the porch does support well the 2nd stream. While the other one with grass and gravel does not. Ok so I guess I am stuck with mainstream and sub1@D1 (don't think it is a good idea for DMSS and mobile view to use 720p)

same results, output quality doesn't change at all. Because I was thinking about using M for recording, S1 for DMSS and S2 for HA cards via go2rtc.

    Mini-Review EmpireTech IPC-Color4M-T

I think there is something weird going on with substream 2 itself. This is the mainstream, nice and crispy: This one is the sub1 with D1: while this one is sub2 at 720p: and this one is sub1 using the same settings as the above sub2: while these the settings: IMHO, it seems like...

    Mini-Review EmpireTech IPC-Color4M-T

Hello all! I have 6 of these cameras that are working great so far. I also have the 8ch-poe-2hdd-ai NVR. Question: I've set the main stream to 4mpx, 15fps, 15 iframe, cbr and 6144kbit/s. I've set the substream 1 to D1, 10fps, 10 iframe, CBR and 512kbit/s I've set the substream 2 to 720p...
