Hikvision NVR creates "ngtest" backdoor user on managed camera's

I really want to know what code is behind it. A camera must accept this "connection" and code right out of the box, without an initial (admin account) setup. So in my opinion that's a risk. Also, the proces overwrites any existing ngtest account with more permission than it had and changes the...

Hikvision NVR creates "ngtest" backdoor user on managed camera's

Well, out of the box connection right into the NVR PoE port it creates that user. No first admin password setup with security questions or whatsoever. Let that settle in for a moment en think about how that is programed in the software. If you do the initial connection through the NVR and...

Hikvision NVR creates "ngtest" backdoor user on managed camera's

I have a DS-7616NXI-I2/16P/S NVR with firmware V5.04.066 build 250620 (latest). I have connected multiple Hikvision camera's through LAN and PoE. When i go to the webinterface of the "NVR->Device Access->Device->Video Device->Operation->Go" to manage the camera itself through the NVR it creates...

Not enough resource for motion detection analysis. Check the engine configuration in smart analysis.

You are showing me an older interface then i have. I have a DS-7616NXI-i2 (V5.04.060 build 250523). And what you say about the resources used by the NVR isn't correct. Intelligent Analytics AI by NVRFacial recognition, perimeter protection, motion detection 2.0 AI by CameraFacial recognition...

Not enough resource for motion detection analysis. Check the engine configuration in smart analysis.

Thanks for your reply. I understand what you are saying. If you enable AI by Device (the NVR) and any option related then you get linked channels in the VCA engine. After the reset I didn't enable any camera with the acusense feature (AI enabled by Device) so there isn't any device using the...

Not enough resource for motion detection analysis. Check the engine configuration in smart analysis.

Update: i used the: "Restore to Default Settings All parameters except network parameters and user account will be cleared" setting. Configured the VCA engine to "Permeter protection", added the camera's again and instantly got that notification again. Super annoying.

Not enough resource for motion detection analysis. Check the engine configuration in smart analysis.

I don't have any human/vehicle function enabled at the motion detection section on any camera. As shown above that is the only camera that displays that function and they are unchecked. I don't know what you mean with "motion 2.0". I don't see that remark Anywhere can you explain it s little...

Not enough resource for motion detection analysis. Check the engine configuration in smart analysis.

I bought a brand new ds-7616NXI-i2/P16(E). (firmware V5.04.060 build 250523) Setup the device, migrated my camera's (AcuSense, non AcuSense, AliExpress "hik-compatible" and ONVIF streams) and configured the VCA Engine as: "Perimeter Protection". This because i want to use non acusense...

    Review: EZVIZ DB1C

I have a "Ring" 24v transformator, why? Do you think that is the problem with losing connection? Unstable powersupply? Keep in mind that my original question is about the latest firmware with a hikvison nvr ;-)

    Review: EZVIZ DB1C

Well thanks for the old firmware links. Today i upgraded a brand new DB1C to te latest firmware. I think it had a 2022 firmware on it and now the lastest (2024). The DB1C is added to my Hikvision NVR. Through Ezviz studio (Adanced) and IVM5200 client i can edit some parts of the camera. But i...
