FYI I DM's with Andy and he instructed me to turn off the "target filter" for the IVS rule and then alarm notifications for the IVS(tripwire/intrusion) for animals (all IVS for that matter)will be pushed to the DMSS app. INDEED that worked, HOWEVER will some sacrifice. I appreciate your help very much. With animal detection being fairly new on these Dawa cameras, I guess it’s just a matter of time until the app is able to process it as an alert notification. Like I said the NVR identifies the animal meta-data and IVS properly, but it does not get pushed at all... -

I did not get it working unfortunately. Thanks for all your effort but I will prob just have to wait it out until it’s much easier to do and the app is updated w animal alerts. I swear some people on here have said they have it working but I don’t believe it. lol. Thanks again. -

Hey, in reference to you above comment, specifically in regards to #2 and ANIMAL alerts on DMSS. I dont get them as we discussed with IVS rules, but i just was browsing around in the app and there appears to be a "Pet detection" section in SMD on the app. I haven't tried it yet but I might see... -

I know this thread is pretty old but wondering if this version is for Smart PSS or the Lite version and where i can get it for my windows machine. Hey @Defender574 ...I am interested in purchasing this PTZ and have a soffit issue like you do so I am trying to figure out the logistics of what mount/junction box I may need to try to clear as much of the soffit as I can. I see you discussed the mounting options here as well... -

Yea man the angle kills me but my home is on a big sweeping curve and I dont have ANY good angle so I do the best I can . That Z4 is zoomed all the way in. I get great captures in the day and like you mention, at night it is much more difficult. Below you can see the older style reflective... -
