    Hikvision: Why is my playback always in Alarm?

    I took the nuclear option and reset the NVR to defaults, that still didn't help, then I reset the camera to defaults and it started working :), although it is still showing as alarm rather than motion.

    It's a DS-7604NXI-K1/4P on version V4.74.017 build 230418. This is what I see in the maintenance log for alarm: I would have expected it to only record between those stop and start events.
