    Hey Mr. Tony! I JUST uninstalled the last couple of windows updates and restarted the computer. I thought I’d disabled updates but I neglected to do it through windows services. Hopefully this has stopped them completely. The app is now working!

    Been using BI version 5.9.9.59 for some time now. The last three days or so, neither the app or webserver/ip will load. The app goes through all the motions and once logged in, the cameras, alerts and status will not populate… only a spinning ring. Any ideas? I’ll check the Windows update but...

    I’m not sure. But, mine is doing the same thing. The app will login, goes to the camera screen (same with alerts) but they never pull up. (WAN only).

    RAM upgrade

    I’m not sure if there is a formula or percentage or if it’s based on cams running AI. That said, it definitely helps to have the RAM there and a decent CPU would help as well.

    Every time I. Login to BI’s app, I have 6-8 errors or alerts and I can’t identify them in the log. Would anyone mind taking a look at these and see what problems may be? BI runs/operates fine.

    PSA: Upgrading your ram is a TREMENDOUSLY great idea. I bought a cheap i5-8500 off eBay with 8gb. I just dropped in 32gb and holy shit! The machine is noticeably faster. The UI3 operates smoother/quicker. I wish I’d have done this when I got it.

    Not sure if this is an app or BI issue. But, The camera view on a recently installed camera is split. Anyone know of a fix for this? I tried using Dahua instead of generic when using the find/inspect function. They are T5842T-ZE PoE 8MP

    Absolutely. The 8mp on a 1.8 concerned me. If I buy one, I’ll be buying an ir emitter or two as well. My concern was that the less memory translated into a harder working unit with lesser life expectancy? BI handles motion and I’d rely on the cam for ivs obviously. Thanks Wittaj!

    Anyone looking at this, I checked the “apply delay to group/s.” Option and I believe this will fix it. Edit: checking that box did not fix it. I have no clue why BI is sending motion alerts when the ptz returns home. Happens on both of my PTZs.
