Config tool site not secure issue

You were 100% correct it was an IP address conflict. I logged on to my router client list and I had two devices with the same IP address. It's just so hard to do much troubleshooting with my little ones around on the weekends. I knew it was something simple I messed up on setup. Now I can test...

I don't install them until I have them setup. I leave a length of cable off the switch for whatever I need to plug in randomly.

@tmxv4128 So I went into my settings on my other cams and mine were very close to what you posted. My gamma was a bit lower and my sharpness a bit higher everything else was very similar. Probably just personal preference. bumping the gamma did lighten everything up a bit though.

@tmxv4128 What settings are you using for night? I just put one of these cams online yesterday and haven't got to play around with it yet. Hopefully tonight I will start tweeking it.

Config tool site not secure issue

I did try switching cables after I posted before, same issue. I don't really have any interest in running a separate 12 volt I bought a good switch so I didn't have to deal with running multiple wires. So do you think the camera is bad then? Its brand new I just got it delivered this week.

Config tool site not secure issue

Config tool is the setup app for the cameras. So it sounds like it is defiantly boot looping. I had to run out for a couple hours when I got back I hard reset the camera and re configured again thinking I made some sort of mistake on setup. Got it setup on the network and it was still restarting...

Config tool site not secure issue

I'm trying to set up a T54IR as s3 and when I'm in config tool it keeps logging me out almost instantly. Edge is saying site is not secure. Last night I set another new cam up with no problems. What gives?

So I dug in a little deeper and discovered that the brown and blue are connected to two of the prongs. What do you make of that @tigerwillow1
  14. Coal_Cracker

    Camera side RJ-45 wire sequence

LOL. No, there was a plastic heat molded insulator there. I tried gently pulling the insulator off first before cutting it, as soon as I saw it was pulling the wire insulator with it I stopped and cut it off.

Patience little? Yes. So here is the sequence of the wires. Now this is for the T5442T-ZE others may possibly be different. Take note the contacts are down in this picture.

    Camera side RJ-45 wire sequence

I have a camera with a bad terminator two of the blades are stuck down and I can't get them to spring back up. I tried it all, deox it, wire brushes, compressed air. As a last ditch effort to get the cam up and running again I'm going to put a new RJ-45 on and use an in line coupler to get it...

Need to replace my 5442 varifocal whats the new go to

I have two 5442's now that took water damage from where the card inserts to the top of the turret. What is the new hot go to cam to replace these. Both will be used in the driveway with a viewing range of about 25' to the curb and 2 8.5 watt 800 lumen downward firing barn lights.

    LPR on 2nd story soffit?

We have had a few instances of strange cars in my development in the past couple months, the most recent on last Wednesday with someone creeping around and ringing a neighbors door bell at 2 am then turning around in front of my house and parking on the corner across the street. I spooked them...

That will never happen, they are so cheap I was shocked when they installed cameras and lights a couple years ago. All they do is watch the cats and raccoons fight at night. LOL.

You defiantly hit the nail on the head. They have all the cams set for overview, I'm in the office with the monitor all the time. When the car is at it closest to the cam I'd say that is about 30 ft.

This guy grabbed a bunch of copper and rolled out the other morning. I asked the yard supervisor for some pictures of the vehicle so I could keep an eye out for them since I work night shift. Needless to say I was less than impressed. From where I can see the cams they look like the Color 4KT...

Sunrise/sunset service only working on one ch. of boobie cam

I believe I figured it out. in the Dahua sunrise sunset manager under configuration I went to edit selected camera and on the bottom left there is a box for multi sensor camera and channel numbers. I defiantly only had channel 1in there, I put in channel 1,2 and now its working.

Sunrise/sunset service only working on one ch. of boobie cam

I have all the settings identical on both channels of the cam but the service only runs on ch1 and not ch 2. Is there something I need to do different to get it to run on the second channel as well? What am I missing here?
