    EZVIZ V5.2.4 build 230404 (DB1) RTSP problem

Did you select several random network settings and press save? That did the trick for me. I use VLC to test the RTSP stream, this is stream: rtsp:/USER:[email protected]:554/Streaming/Channels/101/ And what is your current FW version?

Thanks all for looking into this...but guess what. I came across this issue at EZVIZ V5.2.4 build 230404 (DB1) RTSP problem where @cw-kid had the same issue and a "fix". It's ridiculous but it worked :-)!

    EZVIZ V5.2.4 build 230404 (DB1) RTSP problem

Unbelievable ;-)! This worked for me as well! Thanks! As I am on a Mac, I needed to arrange a Windows laptop, installed IVMS-4200 and did exactly what you described. After saving the setting, RSTSP worked again...like magic!

New RCA HSDB2A 3MP Doorbell IP Camera

Thanks for the suggestion, but the DB1 is ideal for me as it works with my mechanical chime as well. I have been looking for a DB onvif compatible and works with a mechanical chime, no luck yet. FYI -> I have downgraded the DB1 to the FW 211101 Hikvision, running on the Ezviz App. Normally I...

New RCA HSDB2A 3MP Doorbell IP Camera

Thanks @pete_c Did someone got RTSP working on the Ezviz v5.2.4. build 230404 FW? As mentioned, it was running great, but after onboarding the DB (without changing anything) RTPS is not working anymore.

New RCA HSDB2A 3MP Doorbell IP Camera

Hi all, I was flawlessly running the DB1 on the Ezviz v5.2.4. build 230404 fw, combined with a RTSP stream (rtsp:/username:[email protected]:554/Streaming/Channels/101/) to my NVR. As we all know, Ezviz does not support ONVIF. This week, I had to shut down the Accesspoint which the doorbell...

New RCA HSDB2A 3MP Doorbell IP Camera

I had phantom rings as well, but I notice that the push button in the face plate was buggy and it got stuck once it was pressed, so it did not "bounce" back sometimes. I put a very small piece of cotton between the face plate (right behind the push button) and the doorbell. No problems anymore.

New RCA HSDB2A 3MP Doorbell IP Camera

Guess what! As I am using MacOS, the BCT is limited. When I used a Windows latest version, I got all the options :-)! There is no option to disable auto upgrade, but I was successfully add the Ezviz DB1 with the latest Ezviz Firmware add to my NVR with the RTSP...finally. Thanks!

New RCA HSDB2A 3MP Doorbell IP Camera

My last resort...I deleted the camera in the hik connect app. I installed the Ezviz App iOS. Add the DB1 to the Ezviz App. In the Ezviz App you can disable auto update in your profile settings. let's hope this will work. The hik connect app does not have this option as far as I can see.

New RCA HSDB2A 3MP Doorbell IP Camera

Well. the story continues...Flashed the Ezviz DB1 with the Hikvision 211101 fw again with the batch configtool based on setting: Part restoration. The app notifies me that I need to upgrade the FW to the Ezviz version 5.2.4 build 230404. As I don't want to upgrade to the Ezviz FW (it doesn't...

New RCA HSDB2A 3MP Doorbell IP Camera

Hi all, as I am using the Ezviz DB1 for 3 years now, I was very happy with it. As the Ezviz DB1 doesn't support ONVIF, from day one I've flashed the it with the Hikvision FW starting from version 200321 to 211101. FW 211101 is the latest (Hikvision discontinued it). It worked flawless with my...
