    Excellent well done it works for me with option 2. I'll keep it as standard with the Smart detection box, quite like the red boundary now. Should be an option within main settings anyway. So not to repeat for each camera view.

    Yes indeed, just checked. Untick " Show IVS Rule" and red boundaries disappear as well as IVS rules! I personally use intrusion detection within a defined area. So no problems, with delightful red boundaries.

    Yep got that on the newest Smart PSS Light and previous release. It's seems any camera with IVS or meta data capable, shows the red boundary. I'll investigate.

    Oh well done. Doubtful if the "I Frame" interval change, would of caused the original issue. Normally this would cause a pulse on video viewing. As said by myself and others. Having motion/SMD detection & multiple schedules recorded. Will clash with IVS and cause the issues experienced.

    Ok. You may have a chance to "clear database". Worth a try as well.

    My guess is that you have IVS & motion detection, running at the same time. One or the other only.

    Sounds like someone has enabled the substream or mainstream on the video monitor & disabled mouse control. For the view you have. Could you connect a monitor to the VGA/second HDMI if it has one, and attempt to resolve?

    I can use DMSS locally within home LAN. I prefer Amcrest, it's like the older less complex DMSS.

    Amcrest View Pro 2 will work on your local LAN. That's what I use at home and DMSS when away from home.

    I had an issue with the Edge browser not working in IE mode, after a lovely windows update. Resolved by adding my NVR IP LAN address to trusted sites and enabling IE mode for the trusted site. Google will hopefully assist further.

    Had this on my 4MT when I had an IVS rule for stay detection. It was going off constantly when bright sunlight caused, tree/bush shadows. Turned the stay detection off, to resolve.

    Just to chuck my view: I tend to agree with sunny. The NVR's teasing interface to adjust (wreck, cause havoc) each IP camera. Is designed for the user that has everything on the lovely "auto settings", as it may work! Never tried myself. But as said before, by other forum members, it's target...
