Not quite the same, but on 6.0,2.8 all my canceled alerts were triggering the "on alert" actions (very annoying since it does a voice announcement throughout my house). Upgrading to 6.0.2.9 seems to have fixed it.
Thanks, @jrbeddow . I'll change it to giraffe to keep it totally free of conflict (It's been ages since any giraffes were wandering through my suburb). I'm happy with all alerts being longer - motion detection is pretty tight.
Reporting back, for the most part I am getting better results after removing the "to cancel" field.
But, of course, I have another "nothing found" anomaly to fix. Here is a clip that runs 5 seconds and never sees the car. After the 5 seconds, the car proceeds fully into the frame but the clip...
For the most part, the new AI is working well for me. But this one problem befuddles me, here's one example: In the AI Inspector it identifies a person with confidence from 55% to 81% but it still reports "nothing found".
How can it identify the object, e.g. person, and still classify it...
That's what I did and see no problems.
I believe the strong recommendation is to NOT uninstall BI5 until after BI6 is running. Again, that's what I did (in fact, BI5 is still on my system).
Thanks, Tinman. I thought I was following the scheme outlined in the help file excerpt. I increased the pre-trigger from 1 to 2 and the post-trigger from 2 to 10 every 500msec. But, as far as I can tell, the analysis was only for 2 frames before and after. Shouldn't it do 13 frames in total?
I took the plunge and upgraded today. I can report that it all went as expected with zero surprises and seems to be functioning, with the new native AI, very well.
I'm having a debug problem with identifying cars in my driveway. The model is YOLOv8. Below is the image being analyzed, the AI...
I'm trying to put in a make time of 0.5 seconds and a break time of 4.0 seconds. In the motion sensor page, I clearly see the make time parameter, but I do not see an explicit break time parameter. There is an option after make time of how many times within how many seconds. Is that the...
My system is a factory-built HP and I've read that HP is notorious for making it difficult to swap PSU's. If what I have will support a GTX1650, then I think that gives me a sufficient boost (upgrading from a Quadro P400)
Thanks for the good analysis. I've measured my overall system at the plug at generally 100w with spikes up to 130w. Assuming 85% max efficiency, the little 240w PSU can handle about 190w. I've lowered my ambtions down to a GTX 1650 which would add about 50w. Is it too much of a risk to draw...
I'd love to replace my Quadro P400 with this board. I have the slots but ASUS recommends a 450w PSU and my little guy is only 240w. Can anyone offer a suggestion on how I can measure my current load to see if there is enough headroom to support the 3050 at 70w?
I'm trying to sign up for this support service but I'm not sure I'm doing it correctly. I hope @Mike sees this. I went to the website and picked a date & time (tomorrow, 12/11) and got a confirmation email. But it seems I'm also supposed to get instructions or a link to pay, which I have not...
A quick update. None of the unistall/re-install processes worked with v2.0.8, but 2.1.1 installed beautifully. I have to figure out my model configuration and detection parameters because I get "Nothing Found" but I know CP.AI is being sent the images to analyze. Close!
That report looks identical to my issue. Thanks so much for the tip. I'm away from my BI/CPAI machine tonight but will investigate Saturday. Thanks again.
UPDATE: My symptoms were the same but the solution offered {deleteing the PROGRAMDATA json} does not work for me. In fact, I don't even...
Thanks @kaltertod and @MikeLud1 But, still no joy. All the uninstalls and re-installs seems to go perfectly and the Program Files/CodeProject directory is created again. But it never runs. I see no sign of CPAI in Device Manager or in the Services list. In the Blue Iris AI screen the...
My CPAI seems to be dead in the water and I don't know why. It's been installed and running very successfully for several months. The environment is Windows 10, BI 5.7.4.2 and CPAI 2.0.8.0. Starting 2 days ago, CPAI didn't respond and today when I pulled up localhost:32168, it did not respond...
Thanks, @MikeLud1 From the chart, the 5m seems to give the best performance boost with a low marginal increased hit to resources. ChatGPT suggests 5n would be near the 5m performance, but I don't see that opinion validated by the chart.
To clarify my own use, I use the direct method to the cameras by issuing http commands from my home automaton (Hubitat) system. This allows me to tweak the exact times, relative to sunrise and sunset, for each camera. E.g. the camera on my east side does better in day/color mode a few minutes...
Thank you, gents. Here is what I am using for the Profile. I don't want to use fixed times forever, but for testing I thought it best to use a time schedule so I know there is no automation getting in the way.
For Exposure, I am setting everything to manual for the same reason as above...
Sorry to say that this camera is still struggling. Here are its current settings:
And a snippet of 67 seconds of video with four dropouts. Any and all ideas are welcome.
In diagnosing my original problem, I realized that I am really ignorant about the profile and video settings for my Dahua cameras. Is there a "best practices" or tutorial anywhere that gives a detailed analysis of what these settings do?
