On both my cameras, the fog/mist looks a bit more like the video from @bigredfish. I can see the individual particles. So if this was like that on the older cameras as well, there is no use to raise the issue with Dahua: there is not much of a difference (at least on my cameras). -

Oh perhaps you are right. But for me this is also a non-issue as it is not possible to approach the door in complete darkness. So I had to put a light outside anyway. If they cannot find the outdoor station (which is huge in my opinion), I think I have a problem with my guests ;-)
