How do you protect your cameras from storms?
I'm talking lightning storms in the area. Is a dedicated surge protector with your NVR and a dedicated surge protector with your POE Switch enough? Now a direct hit to the camera is a different story, obviously. How do you guys protect your system? -

This is the non-Poe port version. For those who have and are using this model can you tell me how noisy this nvr is? What about the heat output? In pictures I don't see a fan on the back of the unit... is there a different fan in this model or none at all thus making this near silent? -
