    I just installed my Color4M-T yesterday replacing one of my 4K T cams just as a test. I saved an image from both cameras with similiar settings to compare. I think this is a good example showing the softness issue people have complained about with the 4K T cams.

    I would try it out and see what happens. Add the cameras one by one and monitor your BI PC stats. I have all five of my 4K T cams set up with the onboard AI and the only thing that changed was my RAM usage increasing by about 4%. Even triggering the camera with motion doesn't increase my CPU...

    Thirteen cameras total. Five 8MP and the rest 4MP. I am using BI 6.0.1.6. My five 4K cams are using the built in AI. CPU usage is hovering between 5% and 8%. RAM usage is at 10.7%. PC Specs: i5 14600K. 32G DDR5 RAM. Using onboard graphics on my CPU.

    Todays update (12/22/25) lowered RAM usage for me with six cameras using onboard AI. EDIT: Scratch that......RAM usage back to where it was before. Probably just the rebot during the upgrade.

    I'm using the integrated Intel UHD Graphics on my i5 14600K CPU. I don't even have a dedicated graphics card in my BI system. My CPU usage is the same as before. My RAM has gone up slightly but so far I only have two cameras switched over to AI.

    I upgraded my modem recently to a RM551 and installed it in a M.2 to ethernet sled. Getting well over gig speeds now. Best part is I am using a $10.00/month T-Mobile tablet plan SIM now. Works perfect.
