Let me guess.... Are you a Mac user? Do you have Microsoft Office (Word/Excel etc) installed? The CSS styles used in the Dahua NVR interface use appropriately selected fonts for Windows, Mac, Android, and iOS. And the interface normally looks OK on these platforms... Dahua v5 upgrade questions / Empiretech Taurus
those are the same software/firmware as Dahua.. simply different logo... Empiretech is simply reseller under own brand (OEM) here.. Color4K S1 are old cams from 2021.. some models had gray interface, some new blue one.. This line had many problems, widely commented on here on the forum. Dahua...- steve1225

Avigilon is doing CCTV systems for corporations, who need multiple 100+ cameras systems.. And they have good integrated solution for that (especially VMS / software side, camera hardware is mediocre at best). Price is from the hell, but they have many advantages for that big integrations... -

Yes.. On the new NVR model new firmware with new UI will be updated / extended for next 2-3 years.. As it was always on PRO line of cameras or NVRs... So no worries here... if there are bugs they should be fixed... I don't know what policy update Dahua will take for older 5xxx-EI (2022... -

You can assume that for 99.99% chance plugin is still there :) most features will work without it (like on actual NVRs on latest firmwares), but you will see non stop messages about installing and some limitations.. -

it's not - decoding capabilities are half of 5xxx-EI (-AI models in Andy shop).. And 5xxx-EI is old model (2022), replaced by new 5xxx-EI2 (AI-S2 in Andy shop, 2x more AI limits, bigger decoding capabilities, some extra AI functionality).. ps. Normally yes - zero.. Exposure compensation have use where you have very big brightness differences in scene (80% scene bright, 20% very dark). In other cases - automatic selection should be ok. If you limit exposure / gain / iris too much - then automatic selection will not work correctly... -

In Europe, if a product is defective, we send it back to the seller (online or classic offline - zero difference), and they have to worry about what to do with it. Typically, repairs or replacements are handled by the manufacturer's representative for that country - but seller should know this ... -

I wrote that - this is main case where I need separate profiles in those 2-3% cases... For now you can use WDR all day & night.. and use one profile... Or contact with Your seller.. And try to create request for fixed firmware. You seller sold You this product and his is responsible to support... -

As I person who manages hundreds of cams, I will tell you that You are not right.. Simply You don't know how to do it :) In 97% cases night profile (shutter time/gains setup for the night - but only if setup as RANGES from 0 to specified value - in full manual mode) will work very well in day... -

you can't contact with Dahua China directly - they don't talk with end-users... You must go by Your seller, it will use Dahua contact in Your country and then they can report a problem in firmware to Dahua China. -

second option is simply use one profile.. on most cased today there is no need to two separate profiles for day & night.. even in full manual mode you have RANGES for shutter time and gain - you can create one profile which will work nice in day & night... -

looks like firmware error.. you can try to do standard voodoo magic (upgrade firmware to latest, do default on camera to factory settings)... if this don't help then your should report this problem/error to your Dahua seller, which should report this to Dahua China and request fixed firmware..
