    Here is one like I use 1 in house and 1 in my Garage Netgear ProSafe GS728TPP 24-Port Gigabit Ethernet Switch with PoE+ and 4 SFP | eBay Although I purchased mine for about $130 Avg. You can get some great deals if you have the time.

    That is what I did for my run into my Detached Garage.....MY System Install-- Step #1--Fiber Optic Cable to Garage Install I also used Vlans..working out ok... but I have had to put my Cams setup on hold for awhile :(
