I seem to be making some progress. I changed my codec to H264B & turned on smart codec. The playback now is what I'd consider very decent. Rebooted then tried H264 and smart codec. Playback seems even better, maybe normal. Still plugged into my router directly with external power supply... -

Sorry forgot to answer the router question. No, it's going through a managed POE switch. I'd have to connect a separate power supply and connect it directly to my router. What are your thoughts on POE Managed switch vs router? -

I can try getting IE to work on my Windows 11 computers but I'm assuming I'd be doing this as a way to diagnose a Chrome/Edge browser issue, not as a permanent solution. Forget the above I messed up and couldn't edit. On the camera tag: Red-audio out, white-audio in, black-ground. Mic wires are red and black. Do I connect the white camera wire to the red mic wire and the black camera wire to the black mic wire with the red unused? -

Ahhh, that is good to know. I suspected that I could use one or the other or both. Having MD on creates a lot of false negatives (leaves, bugs, tree shadows). Just using IVS cuts down on this a LOT.- marklyn

I've recently started using 3 of my Dahua cameras IVS features to record on a local SD card (in addition to BI recordings). However, in the past few years I've always let BI do the heavy work of motion detect, filtering and trigger recording. I've decided to use some SD cards in my Dahua cams...- marklyn

Blue Iris Tools and UAC
I guess Windoze updated on my Windows 11 computer and now, on reboot, UAC is asking for permission to run Blue Iris Tools. Is there an easy fix for this to automatically run BIT or have UAC ignore it? -

UI 3 and green screen playback issue (again?)
It's happening on my desktop computer at home and, now that I'm on the road, with my laptop. On both machines I was using Chrome primarily but tried Edge and both had hw acceleration turned off and both tried using javascript. UI 3 and green screen playback issue (again?)
Fixed this a few months ago from a suggestion to turn on javascript in UI3 but it's been back now for a least 2 months. Tried Edge, turned off hw accel in both edge and chrome, still no love. Anything new on this to try to get rid of the green screen video playback in UI3?- marklyn

Out of curiosity, where might I find the equivalent Hikvision firmware to flash my Loryta camera? I mean, if I went to the Hikvision firmware downloads, how would I know which one to choose? -
