    IPC-Color4K-T and IPC-Color4K-T180 230227 Firmware

I was recently unable to contact a 4kt camera after a power outage. It came back on it's own 3 days after the original power was removed. Prior to that it didn't exist. No utility could find it on the network despite network commonality with all but 1 metre of cable . This is the 2nd time I've...

    New LED streetlights!

Yeah they're great. Only trouble is the local authority will find out they can save a ton on their bills by turning the brightness down as they're dimmable. At night, our roads look darker now then when we had Sodium. Only advantage is the colour rendition. BTW, looks like gain / shutter...

Need Your Help to Decide between T54IR-ZE and Color4K-T and How to Install It

Yeah it's a great idea & a bigger more sensitive chip is the way to go for nightime colour, but it needs more stability, less power / connection issues (mine has come back on it's own tdoay after 3 days!!), a better CPU & / or more memory, a better lens with smaller aperture to increase DOF. I...

Need Your Help to Decide between T54IR-ZE and Color4K-T and How to Install It

I don't have an issues with settings, but recenty they haven't liked having the power removed. They've had it removed many times though over their lifespan, not always without issue. It seems to be some kind of weakness I've never heard of in another camera in here. No other reason why they'd...

Need Your Help to Decide between T54IR-ZE and Color4K-T and How to Install It

TBH I'd consider forgetting the built in lights and mounting a low wattage LED light on the house wall instead on a dusk to dawn sensor. A bulb of maybe 6-8w will give you all the light you need for a decent picture but you can boost that with a motion sensor activated flood light if you...

How to find the IP address of my Dahua camera

I don't sorry. Others are more expert than me and I don't have an NVR either. I use BI. This means I can't guarantee this is the issue. It depends on whether or not the cameras need to be on the same network or not. ATM one camera is on a 192.168....address and the other on a 10.1.1...address...

How to find the IP address of my Dahua camera

It's on a different network range to your other camera. Maybe that's the issue. If there's an ability to change the IP address from the NVR, change it to one within the same range. Give it a 10.1.1.X address to match your other camera all but for the last digit.

MFW5241T2-E3-ASE: new triple sight very long range perimeter protection camera

I'm sure they could easily put fixed lenses on. There's no need to put expensive zoom lenses on as per the individual 5442 lineup. 3 fixed lens at the focal lengths you mentioned would suffice. I'm sure there would be takers if the PQ quality was there. The cameras is great in concept, just...

MFW5241T2-E3-ASE: new triple sight very long range perimeter protection camera

TBH I still think it's a waste of time. 10 yrs ago we'd have been all over this. But now, we know that NV can be good and the newer sensors have opened up a world of better Picture Quality. Great Idea, but poorly implemented. As I mentioned, get the 3x 5442 S2 or s3 4mp chips in there, sort...

Change Dahua camera from Chinese to English

You've put yourself in a world of hurt. EVen if you can find some English firmeware that would go on, with every firmware update you might try you risk bricking the camera. Wrong firmware = no camera. Best advice, stick it on ebay, buy an International or US version. Andy on here sells...

    Recommendations for outdoor IP camera.

Wouldn't say it's the only reasonable choice, but if you're asking for the best camera for the money at a reasonable price, then that's it. Practically anything else will compromise the picture unless you go for spending considerably more money. As for RTSP, home automation, beyond my knowledge...

    Recommendations for outdoor IP camera.

I think its the fact you said you'll add it to the list. BTW he didn't suggest a dome. He suggested a Turret. Similar to a dome in form but with flat glass lenses. Ultimately, there is no list. That is single handidly the best camera for reasonable money out there. Most consumer cameras are...

B54IR-Z4E S3 How to zoom out? Picture is too close

Have you checked the thread on LPR? LPR is an art. At night the whole image will be black apart from the plate as you need to run IR and a very fast shutter speed. Hence why you need 2 cameras, one for LPR and one normal. You can forget full colour nightime LPR unless you live in a fully lit...

AI Cancelling Alerts - False Negatives

It's probably due to the long processing times. Take a look at the timings - you've got timings approaching 5,000 msecs. They ideally should be under 200ms. Unsure what processing methods / pc you're using but appears whatever they are, they're struggling to process the images. Could be a pc...
