    Here it is with the spacer I made. It's still nowhere near dark, so it will be a bit longer before I can get some night captures. It also bothers the hell out of me that this thing will not index to 0* on the rotate adjustment. My other one is the same way.

    I'll grab a picture of the spacer I made. It's 65mm tall, and could possibly be shorter, but for me it allows the camera full upward tilt while also clearing my Z12E LPR near it. I may design one that's shorter, but indexed and stackable, so you just stack as many as you need.

    That's what I thought, but wasn't sure. I've done some renaming/organizing and didn't want DB files or folders to sit there taking space.

    If I rename a camera, what happens to files under the old camera name? Do I need to manually delete anything or will it figure it out on its own over time? I don't want files and folders for Camera1 lingering around, clogging things up, if I rename it to Camera2.

    Z4E is too zoomed in, so IR count is not relevant. That is why I suggested the -ZE turret variant of 2.7mm-12mm. Turrets are like eyeballs and can be almost infinitely adjusted. I have them mounted vertically on walls and horizontally under soffits.

    Yes. It is all possible. All of it. Every single question. Anyone who wants to manipulate mouse firmware or install a hidden camera will put in the time and effort to do it. Is it plausible? Not at all. There are way more efficient ways of gathering screen information than a camera in a mouse.

    1 good camera is better than 2 less than good cameras. Look at empiretech01.com. They are Dahua cams rebranded for the consumer market. I am not sure if he ships to the UK from his web store, but he does sell on UK Amazon. These are the cameras most here use. T54IR-AS or T54IR-ZE

    He has one, and it does not have a low enough focal length for his use. The ZE is 2.7-12mm, the Z4E is 8-32mm

    He just had ZEs on there the other day. You may have been too slow. One thing with the triple lens is they all adjust in unison, so you get what you get and if you want a slightly different tilt or angle adjustment up close or far away, it's not possible.

    The -Z4E is a good camera, but you're right, it starts at 8mm. You will want the T54IR-ZE that ranges from 2.7mm-12mm.
