    How is the VPN on Ubiquiti as they don't support OpenVPN? I use it to view ip cams without port fwd. I've been looking at the UDM Pro since it can handle GIG internet but seems overkill for me.

    My first bad experience with aliexpress only due to shipping

    Bought more IP cameras from aliexpress and to find out that it had been returned to the seller as all it says (Parcel is returning to sender) Is this the sellers fault? Seller responded and said it didn't make it through customs check.

    Anyone know what kind of alan/torq driver dahua uses to take the dom of there cameras? Yes i know they come with one but it would be nice to have a T handle version.

    Yes it is a pain! lol I'm gonna try some gasket lock and see if that will help, i may end up trying the PFA130-E there is more room in that box i think? It's really hard to get all the cables in the box once upside down and keep the gasket in place.

    It's a mini dome there is no wire. When i shove the cables into the box they always hit the gasket and knock it off.

    I ended up with the PFA137. How the heck can you secure the gasket? It falls off when upside down.

    True that is why i wonder if the PFA130-E would allow a dome cable that is not in the center to be placed in the box. It does not look like it would work unless your dome cam had the cable in the center.

    Mine is very thin and there is no wood in between the soffit, the only wood is at the ends of the garage but that has flood lights mounted at every corner so i had the bright idea of just cutting a 2x4 and put in between and mount a round gang box to that then use a round cover plate drill...

    Will both of these fit the same camera? My camera only shows the PFA137 for a Accessory. My PTZ dome cable is mounted towards the side like in this picture.

    Looking for a outdoor min dome PTZ with night vision.

    I've been using a Dahua SD22204T PTZ it works fine but has no IR, i may just buy another one since it's compact and has the focal range i want. It's a few years old. Anything with a dome and IR seems to be bad at night anyway with the halo affect. Most all my cams are turrets.

    Wondering if any one has ideas on how to install a dome cam under the eave in the soffit. There is no 2x4 going across. What i have been doing is cuting a 2x4 the width of the soffit and mounting it to that.

    I have a older netgear router i could use if i can remember how setup two routers on the same network. I think on the netgear i would assign it a IP and turn off DHCP, plug it into my switch for the internet.

    The wireless can't be that bad i have one of these cams at another location for a few years now and have zero issues like i'm seeing. Mine will drop out completely over time until i reboot the router then work fine for a while. Try a house on a concrete slab with half a attic.

    They are in a location where hard wired is a no go.

    DS-2CD2455FWD-IW vs older DS-2CD2442FWD-IW?

    Anyone know what the difference in these two are besides the obvious 4MP, 5MP only difference i see if the newer model does H265 There is also DS-2CE38D8T-PIR that is a 2MP version.
