    Thanks guys at work ar the moment.Will try some suggestion later. I have 16 of the same cameras on the same Dahua nvr and none of the others have this problem.

    Will this also set passwords to factory ? If not how do you create a new admin eliminate an old admin. If it does wjat is factory admin password ?

    The NVR sets the IP once it registers it right? I will find my external POE and try that later.

    This is a new camera I bought from Andy about 3 months ago. All the sudden it will not let me login to the camera itself. It is recording but not sending events. I have done hard reset on camera and rebooted entire network devices with no changes. All other 15 cameras are working as should.

    No The hard drive shows in the storage tab on nvr . But I think it is in the second position on board. Would that matter?

    Got home about 45 minute ago and pulled nvr. Reseated hard drives and board connections. It seems to be working as should except renaming cameras on boot up. I hope it was that easy and it stays stable.

    Also just got DMSS working with new nvr today on my android. It doesn't appear to have skipping issues on play back on phone.

    I have never recorded to sd card but will try. Nvr does the same skipping around of playback in the search and the ai clips.

    I am logging into nvr directly with IE. But to log into cameras I only use IE. I have had the other system in place working damn good for over 3 years with 16 cameras.

    Just updated my dahua 2018 nvr with new dahua nvr. No sd cards installed. Nvr playback is the problem.

    Update did tje refresh on camaras and nvr didnt seem to help much. A reboot did seem to make things better. But having issues now on playback of recordings it skips section or hangs up. As much as I hate it, may try new fw update.

    Read through dome other post with simular problems. The hatd drives in mine are 2 WD purple 8tb. One is new one came out of old system working perfectly. The nvr is brand new from Andy . Will look and post firmware version when I get home later.

    It seems when I go back to view recordings in either AI IVS or search the video starts playing and as soon as an event happens or about halfway through it stops and jumps ahead a few seconds. I cannot force it to show that section of the video.
