How to use a Kuna with Blue Iris

No, these camera boards usually come with a mic connector, mine did. Unlike the other mic the new mic has power (taken from Kunas power supply).

How to use a Kuna with Blue Iris

Been really busy lately so didn't touch this project but hoping as of next week I'll have some time to finish and add new pics as I go along. To make a write-up will take some free time but I may do one in the future. The camera is wifi but the board that comes with the camera can have an...

How to use a Kuna with Blue Iris

I'll add more pictures once I get all the parts I ordered. Going to extend the sonoff with an extended antenna, I added the new mic, the hardest part is to wire the camera (need to add a cable to my router in the wall). Thinking of also adding waterproof pins so that I can reprogram the sonoff...

How to use a Kuna with Blue Iris

Images seem to work... Also a few changes since I've started this project. I had issues with the wifi from my camera so will hard wire it (not needed but will reinforce my video feed). The Kuna mic didn't work with my setup so had to replace it with this one: US $2.72 |Special MIC microphone...

How to use a Kuna with Blue Iris

Well I tried to find a way to use my Kuna with Blue Iris but couldn't find any "easy" way to do so. The only way I found is to remove all the original internals and replace with my own. What I used: Replaced camera with: IP Wireless WIFI 1080P Camera Module Board with Panorama View @180...

Hack your own IP PoE Kuna Maximus lamp camera ( DIY coach light hack )

So finally removed all the inside of my Kuna and replaced it with a 1080p 180 degrees camera and a Sonoff with Tasmota. Looks like the original Kuna but now I can control the video via Blue Iris and control my lights using Homeseer. Here are some pics:

Standalone Java app for dedicated live view with Instant Replay

Do I always have to type "java -jar BlueIrisViewer.jar" in order to open this viewer? Can I create a shortcut of some sort once I've established connection?

Hack your own IP PoE Kuna Maximus lamp camera ( DIY coach light hack )

So here is the camera inside Kuna: I tried to see if the Kuna will work with the camera disconnected (removed the film strip that goes between the camera and the main board) but it gave me a "can't connect" error via their software. So I am trying to see if there is a way to connect a...

Hack your own IP PoE Kuna Maximus lamp camera ( DIY coach light hack )

Not the cleanest way. I am trying to find a camera that matches the one Kuna uses and just replace it. Something like this: RAK5270,5.8G WiFi camera module,Hi3516C module, wireless drone camera accessories, Hisilicon camera module/board, Full HD 1080P-in Transmission from Consumer Electronics...
