    does anyone know why both of these cameras go totally dark for about 10 minutes before the IR comes on like in the right photo? I resent it back to factory defaults but still dark. Thanks

    the lens has been cleaned with 91% Isopropyl Alcohol, Q-Tip and a microfiber towel.

    I would not purchase another Dahua camera. I had nothing but trouble with them. the leak over time, and I had a few die. as needed I have been switching to a different brand which has better IR night vision and is the clearest video I have seen yet of any camera. both day and night. however...

    Ok so I moved the cameras direction and it is still there. I will take it apart and see what the seal looks like?

    I turned off the IR, there is a full moon out tomight thats why it looks light out. The light that you see in back of the boat is acturally two other Camera with the IR on. the big pole to the right in front of the boat is a PZT Camera

    I put black tape around the camer and it did not help, I will try to tilt like you said. how do you stop IR bounce bleed?

    OK so I blocked off all the reflectors and still get lens ring and spots.

    look good during the day. the outside has no lights at night, just the built-in IR. the problem just started.

    well stated, I have the 2mp on my house, and this is for pan, tilt, zoom, daytime people and vehicles, and nighttime just looking at anything I see moving. so far so good. I have not had anyone walking around at night yet to video.

    Mine is 20 feet up on a pole so I do not use the audio. but I have not noticed any wind noise.

    I have not used guard station, just NVR and Blue Iris on my lapTop quick and simple. if you figure out how to manually adjust with Blue Iris let me know.
