Replacing Water Heater Tank in Attic

Somebody in our neighborhood group chat asked about brown water coming out the other day. I said I haven’t noticed it but I’d recommend installing some filters

How can I upgrade a Lorex HD DVR to a Dahua Firmware?

I suppose I glossed over that detail but I still don’t think you’ll be able to upgrade to Dahua firmware without more work than just using configtool. If you can’t upgrade an NVR without a null modem adapter and several steps listed there I doubt you can with a DVR either

    Progressive Liberal Hypocrisy

I was going to add “as I type this on my Apple phone”. but what else is there to use? Google obviously has full control over Android

    Progressive Liberal Hypocrisy

That’s Microsoft so probably not much better. I just changed the default search engine in safari on my phone to DuckDuckGo and downloaded the Brave app. Besides the latest news Google already had me concerned since they seem to hide my emails from any pro 2a website. As in no notifications an...

Why the Cargill Case Will Be Bigger Than Bruen : Washington Gun Law ( this is BIG .. its about the Republic )

They better get rid of belt loops if they’re worried about bump stocks. I’ve never used a bump stock but I think I can waste just as much ammo with my thumb and a loop

Replacing Water Heater Tank in Attic

In trying to make sure I’m not regurgitating misinformation I’ve come to the conclusion that what I’ve been told may not be correct. Some articles I’ve seen say to face the handle in the direction of flow which after looking at several pictures seems to be the opposite of what I said. The main...

Replacing Water Heater Tank in Attic

It is, but initially you're not heating hot water. At what point does it become hot but you're still heating it? I don't know Not knocking ball valves, they work great, just pointing out that if they were to break it would most likely be where the two halves are pressed together. In that...

Replacing Water Heater Tank in Attic

I’m glad you didn’t call it a “hot water heater” you’re not heating hot water. Being in Missouri a water heater in the attic seems so out of place but I realize that’s much less of a concern as you head south. One thing I will point out that’s semi-trivial and not something you did is the water...

    Buying advice - residential property

Generally I’m all about recommending that particular ptz but it looks like you have several trees which may get in the way of taking full advantage of it. I’d put that money towards something that will have a chance of getting a license plate such as...

bidens incredible transition to electric cars

Non-ethanol is a must for any small engine in my book. I would say at least 75% of what I cut around here is Osage Orange (hedge) it’s pretty tough and burns extremely hot but sparks a lot. It essentially will not rot and was used for fence posts quite often if you could find a straight piece...

bidens incredible transition to electric cars

I’ve basically switched to exclusively using battery powered chainsaws. Quiet enough to not worry about hearing protection and it’s ready as soon as I pick it up, no yanking on the cord and waiting for it to warm up enough to be useable. Most of the time it’s the 14” 60v Dewalt top handle since...

Tendelux IR Illuminator AI4 Infrared Light

I run two 20w Tendelux off one of these. They may have something less powerful but whatever you use try to find one UL listed. Not that the light is but at least it’s 12v https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B08TGR1XX9?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title
