Is this as good as it gets?

That looks pretty good to me. Have you played with backlight settings yet? WDR might make it a little better, but don't go too high on it. Do you have it setup for day/night auto-switch? If so, you might want to consider changing it to schedule and play with the night settings options for...

Think I bricked my NVR. Help!

You know, I was thinking about the direct connection statement with a crossover cable and I just remembered that I used the same cable from my NVR (which I think is a straight-thru) to the computer port and the TFTP still worked. I just overlooked connecting to the switch that I had there...

Think I bricked my NVR. Help!

Well, it seems to be an issue with the way you are connecting the NVR and PC. Is the switch still connected to other devices when you are attempting to connect the NVR and computer? If so, try disconnecting all other cables and try again. If for some reason you are connecting the computer and...

Think I bricked my NVR. Help!

Do you have a 76XXN or NI? Mine is a 7608N and would not let me change it at all. I went ahead and updated to 3.3.4 again, rebooted cameras and NVR, and still not able to change it. Only option I can change is the bitrate if I select a custom one from the main stream. I just went back to...

Think I bricked my NVR. Help!

Is the NVR connected to the LAN port and not one of the POE/camera ports? Just checking.

Think I bricked my NVR. Help!

The TFTP IP has nothing to do with the IP setup for the NVR. I updated the instruction on my previous post. See if that works.

Think I bricked my NVR. Help!

Change PC IP address to 192.0.0.168, 255.255.255.0. I would disable the firewall and/or antivirus to make sure they are not blocking access. Also, disable any wifi adapters. Add the digicap.dav file to same folder the TFTP program is and start the TFTP server. Connect the NVR and PC/laptop...

BlueIris PTZ control support for Huisun IP PTZ mini bullet camera

Just a quick follow up. New BI version 4.1.9 with new camera configuration window options and network discovery still unable to find the camera's ONVIF parameters. No PTZ controls yet :sad2:

Hardware video acceleration coming. What effect might this have?

Don't we all... I'm pretty sure that's one of the goals for BI. Meanwhile, any optimization to current code is better than nothing.

    Avidsen Oga Motoriz

Have you tried using Onvif Device Manager v2.2.250 to see if you can connect to them? It might help figure out which port they are using.

2mp 12x dahua rebranded dome deal

Is not like we ordered the cameras from China :D As far as the rebate, I sent the rebate paperwork the day after I received the camera, so it's a waiting game for me now. For some reason I think this will work out just as expected. *fingers crossed*

Is this as good as it gets?

During the day picture quality is not going to change much at your current resolution, even at different exposure settings. Night picture quality is the tricky one, so that's where the challenge really is. Chances are you will need to fine tune night settings, based on area lights, IR lights...
